時常在新聞片看到Amish(阿米什人/愛米希人)和他們的馬車, 服飾, 令人撲朔迷離, 究竟是什麼種族或教派? 他們令我聯想到電影"The Village", 一些與外界斷絕來往的部族.
直至星期一在美國賓夕法尼亞州(Pennsylvania)的Lancaster County發生的校園槍擊案, 令人更想多一點認識這個有別與一般人的族群.
根據Wikipedia, Amish一族不用汽車及電話, 不參軍, 不接受任何政府支助, 說的是一種德國方言, 祖先是瑞士人, 現在主要居住在美國的Pennsylvania(賓夕法尼亞州), Ohio(俄亥俄州), Indiana(印地安納州), Maryland(馬利蘭州), Kalona (Iowa) (艾奧亞州), 及加拿大的Ontario(安大略省).

冬冬: yeah, they are a bit like the orthodox jews w/ long hair and beard + tall hats. do they go to colleges?
after switched it, i can't see my blog (the screen is blank) if i link to my blog unless i go to "post" and then "view". i still don't know why. can you link to my blog?
the most friendly thing is that you don't need to wait for publishing, and it has "labels" function.
but honestly, i will suggest you to wait a while untill everything is completed as you have many stuff in your blog.
looks fine here boh! maybe it's just the version of IE? thanks for the info, yeah, too much stuffs here and i don't want to mess it up yet.
