Public Transports

For those of you who have been to so call "developed countries" like UK and Australia and have gone through you daily life commuting on their "public transports", I am sure you would not disagree with me if words like "delayed", "dirty" and sometimes "dangerous" will come to mind.

Public transports are even worse in a developing country like Malaysia where experience with the "public transports" can actually be quite traumatic. I remember one occasion when I had to take the bus to work, I had to wait for more than an hour before I could get onto a bus that was not full. And when I did manage to get on the bus, we were all packed like sardines with no room to move at all and to top it off the air-conditioning was not working properly. The journey lasted for more than one hour and being a tropical country where the average temperature is 30 degrees Celsius, I can tell you that experience was not a pleasant one! It was down right hazardous. Can you imagine what would have happened if someone among the packed sardines was having a tummy problem during that trip?? Fortunately, that was the last time I had to take a bus in Malaysia.
