"Notes on a Scandal"(2006)也是今年英國電影節選片之一, 去年上映時錯過了, 影碟其實也出了好些日子, 不過有機會在大銀幕看演技派的Judi Dench及Cate Blanchett, 當然不會放過. 看了明白為什麼電影那麼觸目.導演是Richard Eyre, 沒看過他的作品. 電影亦是小說改編, 作者是Zoe Heller, 著作名為"What Was She Thinking: Notes on a Scandal".
劇本本身已是佳作, 應該歸功於原著吧. 有點懸疑, 有點奇情.音樂是Philip Glass, 曾負責多部電影的音樂, 廣為大家認識的有"The Hours"(2002)及正在港上映的"No Reservations"(2007)和Woody Allen的"Cassandra's Dream"(2007). 個人不特別喜歡本片的soundtrack, 但不能否認其突出及達到製造懸疑緊張氣氛的效果.
演員更是理所當然的出眾. 基本上大家入場都是為看演技吧. Judi Dench飾演陰森的女主角Barbara, 技驚四座. 而美人Cate Blanchett飾演另一女主角Sheba也不遑多讓, 絕不比Dench遜色. 而飾演Sheba老公Richard的Bill Nighy雖戲份不多, 但也給人驚喜.題材觸及敏感又具爭議的孌童, 同性戀, 婚外情, 還有教育, 弱能兒童, 家庭等等, 電影都表達得恰到好處, 增加了其故事性, 令人投入其中.
喜歡電影處理Barbara這個角色的手法, 從淺入深, 故事初段觀眾不會知道她的陰暗面, 加添電影的懸疑及緊張.有機會不要錯過.
獲多項提名及獎項.

Btw, I have seen a movie "4 minutes" from German Film Festvial, it is so shocking but lovely.

書係書，電影係電影，不過原作真係大力推介，以barbara個角色第一身寫既記錄，欣賞電影入面佢既對白既，一定會讀得更夠喉！
