偶然也會看完一齣電影跑去買原著來看. 都不一定是因為極度喜歡那部片子才會這樣做. 就是忽然興之所至. 都會把書看完嗎? 不一定啊...前陣子看完電影"Evening"(此情.此生), 在這裡寫了兩篇:

電影可以拍得更好. 而故事本身其實很不錯.
到過Dymocks及Page One都說沒有入貨, 上網找過三聯又找不到. 於是在amazon訂了. 不久, 路過某間三聯卻給我找到, 還是在新書欄上, 當然比訂回來更便宜了!
那天開始讀, 看了首兩頁中對此書的評語, 一概都極度讚賞. 我想, 原著一定比電影好看.
幸而Evening的戲票沒有丟掉, 可以用來作書簽.
喜歡故事開始前的一頁, 作者Susan Minot鳴謝了許多借地方給她寫此書的人, 這些地方有:

看到這些地方, 令人去想像作者寫作時的心路歷程, 很有味道.
現在其實有數本剛開始又或讀了一半的英文書, 然後是這本... 相信我會帶它一起出外走走的.

通常都會看完書才看電影.因為怕電影跟書已經完全沒關係,只是用著同一個title和角色名字來聯繫著.
看完電影再跑去看原著好想沒試過.念頭是有的,但最後都被懶惰打敗.
有時候電影改得比書還精采,那就當是自己賺到了. ;)
lu: 睇完書睇電影一定失望架, 好多時都係. 調番轉會有驚喜. :)
但無耐性,或者已經走去睇第二本書啦 :P (貪新忘舊嘛...keke)
Evening的書的確比戲來得好看，很精闢很到~（Nanny Diaries的原著也是~）
現在看緊~The Memory Keeper's Daughter也不錯呢~有空可以一看
