
說起暑期工, 我們那個年代真的十分普遍, 我的姊姊們常常告訴我, 中五會考後, 都應該找份暑期工, 不要老是"攤大手板"問父親取零用錢. 那一年, 她們倆都在認識了一兩年的夫妻檔"薦人館"做暑期工, 經他們的介紹, 我找到一份一直都想做的暑期工, 就是"行街", 即Office Assistant, 因為很喜歡可以四處去, 不用老是待在公司. 從六月做到八月尾, 九月升中六. 記得那時有$3000一個月, 對於一個十七歲的女孩子來說, 算是不錯的了. 其實根本沒有那麼多街去, 都是去一些公司取文件, 偶然要去工廠取玩具版, 一有機會出去我便十分高興, 因為不用在公司呆坐一整天. 不用外出, 我也充當接待員, 公司只得兩三個人, 所以都是十分清閒. 由於公司女老闆是姊姊暑期工那間公司的老闆娘的好友, 她們問我的姊姊我喜歡什麼, 在我工作最後的一天送了一個doll house給我, 真的把我當作小孩子! 這數個月的經歷都令我畢生難忘, 曾試過去工廠幫忙修改一些玩具, 做了一天"工廠妹". 又試過在工作上認識了一個廿多三十歲的男子, 在地鐵暢談了許久. 一天, 一個印巴藉男子走上公司來, 我竟然被他的"睇相"技倆騙了兩二三百元. 更有一天, 邊聽walkman邊走路被一輛的士輕撞, 坐在地上. 全街的人都望著我, 但我竟然慌張地逃跑了. 回家前告訴大姊, 她告訴母親, 罵了我一頓, 促我馬上去醫院檢查. 結果, 沒有損傷, 但也要等警察落口供, 未夠十八歲的我還要等母親來帶我回家.

後來的暑假也試過到父親公司做"行街"及半個接待員, 都是短暫的. 又試過在電視台做, 告訴人家是長工, 那時有$8000, 兩個多月後便去了美國. 第一年在美國讀書, 暑假回港則在一家本地的製作公司做過, 完全沒有學習機會, 老闆說我不夠主動, 叫我自己寫一個劇本, "人都癲"!

我曾經在「老麥」做過summer job,當時先知原來基本動作如"畢"薯條?"jum"雪糕都要好有技巧,咁先可以用最少既份量扮到好似好大份咁﹗;)

oh i remember, u told me before. :)
I had the following summer job :
1. McDonald's in Mongkok - F.5 summer. I only worked for half day as it is too tough for me. I remember I worked as a cashier and I had to serve each customer within 1 minute!
2. Sales in a jean store for 1 month - F.5 summer.
3. Shopkeeper of a laudry sotre for 1 month - F.5 summer. The store had no air-condition, so it was very hot! My mom asked me to quit as my skin was allergic to such a hot environment but I wanted to persist.
4. Assistant Merchandizer for 1 month - the summer before I went to UK. Tough work. The other assitants were very cool... =(
5. Receptionist for 2 months - 1 yr Uni summer. The most comfortable one. Good paid. Good colleagues! Low workload!! =)

I sold "Fai Yik Tung", the electronic dictionary in a record company after HKCEE. Not bad gah...got $50 comission for each sold.
Also worked in a garment factory and my dad's company as packaging assistant...Hey, yellowline! You did that too!!Haha!
