Also, every one is and should be treated equally under the law. So there should be no special treatment even for a famous director.
Now, having said the above, I think creditable and informed comments will require understanding of the matters beyond the scope of one or two news articles can provide.
Gossip or 吹吹水 (which is what I do most of the time) and informed analysis (legal) are totally different thing.

這世界有兩樣野,我不能原諒,殺人同強姦...
plum: 新聞寫係"性騷擾女童案", 當然大家都會認為係強姦啦. 要等上庭.
我在這邊看新聞，得到的訊息應是「強姦女童」。雖然當事人走出來說不想告他，但他應該面對審判。如果佢清白，就唔會唔敢返美國啦！很奇怪有人會覺得這是三十年前的案子、他又非常出名，所以就不需要拒捕他？不知道是什麼logic.
