David Hockney(1937 - ) 是英國藝術家, 現在以美國加州為創作基地. 他對六十年代的英國pop art有著舉足輕重的影響.近日在新聞相片上見到他的作品, 立時被吸引著. 原來本月十二日至明年一月廿一日於英國倫敦的National Portrait Gallery (Wolfson and Ground Floor Galleries)有Hockney的作品展覽.
作為一個藝術家, Hockney認為藝術代表分享:
"What an artist is trying to do for people is bring them closer to something, because of course art is about sharing: you wouldn't be an artist unless you wanted to share an experience, a thought."
