約了七友中的三人去吃tea然後看戲. 有人提議想試試W Hotel的lunch buffet, 但時間關係, 最後選了下午茶(不是tea buffet). 地點是酒店六樓的"Living Room".Tea set名稱有點特別: High T set 和 Low T set. 都是$238 for two.
四人叫了兩個High T set for two. 一上碟打了一個突...
好肉酸呀呵? 近乎無哂胃口... 唉... 只有那件scone比較好吃. :(
地方算是舒適, 服務不太滿意(我們看了餐牌才知道有什麼咖啡/茶揀選, waitress說先幫我們落單, 稍後再來叫咖啡/茶, 結果這個稍後是非常後... 美點上了很久也忘了回來). 食物更是強差人意.Tea Buffet只在週日供應. Lunch Buffet週一至六, 於"The Kitchen"供應.

咖啡的杯子是膠來的... 分外層及內層, 所以杯子不會熱, 不過裡面的咖啡因為放了一會也沒有人送上來(我看到), 所以也不夠熱. 伴送的曲奇則還算可口.

那盆東西比我整的還嚇人，竟然還要收錢……
W Hotel的餅點我都見過，但賣相好像沒那麼差。那份tea set $238兩個人我都覺得不值…
間酒店真係要檢討一下。否則怎稱得上為五星級呢。

我想個presentation不算太醜, 但是不好吃就太過份了。
So ugly! I usually don't mind but the plastic cup for the fruits? The W Hotel truly doesn't give a beep. Horrible.
I wonder is it the type of hotel that you don't want to compare as nothing will happen. And worst, "bonus" will be added to your food?
真係好肉酸噃, 見到都唔多想食呀。佢地係咪眼高手低, 想做得另類啲、別緻啲, 但結果失敗？

I went to W Htl once and the cake is $100 apiece. >_<
Mandarin Oriental charges $50+ for a piece of cheesecake. I will not go back to W anymore lor.
Al: after this "ordeal", we come up a conclusion... Mandarin is Mandarin, Peninsula is Peninsula... better not try sth new next time... :P
i just went there before i left hk - so it's in february....! i found their service not bad, we even got served with random snacks which we didn't order!
