小芳與昆一起多年, 經歷過邂逅與熱戀期, 細水長流. 日子久了, 感覺有點"當愛變成習慣". 大家都試過多次想離開對方, 躊躇又放低, 迷茫又再清晰. 是天生一對嗎? 旁人或許覺得是. 是註定的嗎, 有誰知曉.小芳的初戀情人可不是昆, 而她當然也不是昆的第一個女人. 小芳第一個情人是鄰家的然, 那時他們一大伙少年人一起玩耍, 當中還有仁和東, 還有其他女孩子. 然是眾多男孩中較大膽及自負的, 不久便得到小芳的芳心. 小芳和然的感情維持至大學時代, 不久, 各散東西, 這群少年人都沒有再聯絡.
小芳認識昆之前, 有一天在街上碰到多年沒見面的仁, 自此, 他們交換了電話和名片, 大家都踏足社會一兩年, 已是人生的另一階段. 這天之後, 仁沒有打電話給小芳, 小芳也幾近忘記了在街上碰面的一幕. 兩年後, 他倆又在街上碰面, 又再交換電話和名片, 其實大家的電話一直都沒有改, 工作倒轉了一兩份. 那天之後, 他倆仍沒有保持聯絡, 各自生活在自己的圈子裡, 或許都沒有把對方放在心上.
小芳因工作關係認識了昆, 然後熱戀, 這回大家都覺得對方是自己最後的那一個.
小芳與仁的緣份好像就停留在街上的偶遇. 自當天的碰面, 他們倆繼續多次在街上碰到, 一次又一次, 他們開始明白, 那或許不是偶然. 小芳心愛著昆, 仁是沒有可能有任何威脅. 小芳和仁開始在網上聯繫, ICQ, 電郵, 節日互送短訊問候或祝福.

小芳與昆從熱戀到平淡, 有時, 他們也弄不清, 是情深義更深, 抑或每一對戀人都如是. 一起多年, 曾試過三四次的考驗, 雙方都遇過不只一次第三者的試探, 每一次, 被背叛的一方都傷心得如刀割.
小芳仍舊偶然在街上碰到仁, 可是他們從不在同一區工作或居住. 他們雙約吃過午飯, 晚飯則只有一次, 因為小芳覺得, 約異性朋友吃晚飯是約會, 她不想令對方誤會.
每一次小芳再碰上仁, 她和昆的感情都在修補的階段, 又或重修舊好, 都是仍有盼望的時期. 每一次小芳想放棄昆, 仁都不知道往哪裡去了. 每一次失望之際, 她想, 如果這時再在街上碰到仁, 又或收到他的電郵, 或許, 就是或許, 她前面的路會和仁一起走而不是昆. 但命運總令人猜不透, 仁的出現永遠都不合時.
每當小芳相信仁只會是她永遠的好朋友時, 昆每令她失望, 仁又再在她心中出現.
有一天, 小芳和仁輕鬆地在ICQ交談, 他們為了繼續這段友情, 用幽默的對話互相捉弄. 仁問: "那麼你一直把我視作什麼?" "... 我們, 只是timing不對吧了"小芳笑著說.

有緣無份的關係, 我們都愛用timing不對來解釋, 因為每個女人在愛情路上總會遇過一個甚至多個像仁一樣永遠在不恰當的時候出現的男人.

timing不算是「緣」因吧，如果timing一直不對也算不上有緣。
有沒有看過無記那套講飛機師的電視劇？馬德宗死之前便是想通了，遇過又錯過又再遇又再錯，那不是timing，而是無緣。
一男一女，又未必有什麼的，單純友誼也是非常可能的。
what if這個問題很危險，可能我心境老餅，很少會想這種。ignorance is bliss.

我覺得這只是小芳的借口,她根本對仁沒有太多興趣/fantasy/passion etc etc, 如果真的喜歡，沒有可能只坐起度等運到．
我想小芳喜歡的由始至終是崑，因為即使他們之間有許多問題及出現了第三者，但她仍然守著這個男人．
另一個可能是，根本仁是無野的，只是小芳在現實生活中跟崑不如意，所以憑藉這個幻想令自己覺得仍然被愛，有相逢恨晚之感，叫自己有點自尊心，最少她會覺得好過點．
agree!如果小芳同仁雙方係有意思，就唔會淨係坐響電腦面前icq啦﹗
至於小芳喜歡的是否昆？我覺得小芳同昆之間既然大家多年，即使有背叛/第三者，傷心得心如刀割仍一齊，相信係是但一方/雙方唔甘心，因為大家多年，拖拖拉拉都唔想亦唔甘心放棄，有背叛都死忍，加上習慣了一起，怕再重新去開始另一段關係﹗
錯錯錯﹗時間性問題係考慮之一，但唔忠誠及愉快的關係，不認真處理/選擇逃避只會一直令雙方痛苦﹗
